We are set on a 100 hectare farm, consisting of a maze of roads and apple orchards waiting to be explored.
The Palmiet River winds its way through us for a spectacular 2.5km.
Trails around the farm are in abundance, with varying degrees of difficulty; from easy strolls to challenging hikes. Long flat roads or dips between valleys and narrow gorges, all of them include eyefuls of natural wonder.

WATER SPORTS
Situated right on the Palmiet River, water activities are abundant at Elgin River Lodge. In addition to the spectacular river meander you can enjoy on our barge or canoes, you can also get the heart rate up with skiing, skurfing, wakeboarding and tubing!
CYCLING
Set on 100 Hectares of farm, we have winding roads calling out for the avid cyclist to come and explore. We're also the perfect base to begin your biking adventures around the Elgin and Grabouw area.
